SCOTT BERRY

ATTORNEY

Scott is a business owner, attorney, father of five, husband, speaker, coach, and community leader. Scott has the ability to connect with people and help them to develop creative solutions to their disputes.

In 2005, Scott founded Berry Law Offices with the philosophy of growing lasting relationships with clients as well as members of the community. To that end, Scott has grown his firm to five members, served on the Fairview Northland Hospital Board of Directors, has served as the President of the Princeton Chamber of Commerce, actively participated in the "Experience Princeton - It Starts Here!" initiative and conceived the annual “Princeton Block Party,” an event that the community looks forward to attending every year.

Why is this all important? Scott's ability to work with and relate to people allows him to assist his clients to create solutions and resolutions to problems and disputes. He understands when to fight when to compromise, and when to reevaluate proposed solutions to disputes.

MICHAEL WAHL

LAW CLERK

Mike is in his third career, coming to Berry Law Offices after retiring from a 27-year career in law enforcement, and a 22-year career in the Minnesota Army National Guard.  Mike’s career at the Sherriff’s Department covered many areas of law enforcement working as a patrol officer, a school resource officer, investigations, civil process, and finally ending his law enforcement career working in court security.

In the Minnesota National Guard, Mike started out as an infantry soldier with a unit located in Rochester.  After completing his initial enlistment, Mike earned his title as Drill Sergeant after successfully completing Drill Sergeant School.  He finished his career with the National Guard as Lead Drill Sergeant for the Arden Hills Recruit Sustainment Program.

Mike obtained significant leadership skills during his time in the Army National Guard as well as his career in law enforcement. In addition to his leadership experience, he has also learned how to be an empathetic advocate through his law enforcement career.

Mike received his Bachelor’s Degree in Police Science from the St. Mary’s University of Minnesota in 2015.  Due to his interest in the law, especially family law, when the opportunity was available, Mike attended Mitchell Hamline School of Law where he graduated in 2021, earning his Juris Doctor degree.

Mike is happily married with three children and two grandchildren. In his free time, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, camping, pheasant hunting with his dog, and traveling.
